Jobs and The Economy
These flawed experiments with Keynesian economic theories to solve our recent crisis will prove to only further burden the American taxpayer and stifle growth in the private sector. No job created in the federal government with our tax dollars has been proven to provide for a private sector job, and it never will. Creating another layer of bureaucracy and regulation will not help us create more jobs in the 6th District.
My Plan Would:
Create Jobs in South East Ohio(not just " save" them). I will do this by revising the tax code to make it more responsibly encourage growth and utilize common sense approaches to reduce government regulation and the unconstitutional power wielded by agencies like the EPA.
1) Recognize that the current tax system is unnecessarily burdensome and overwhelming
2) Start reforming the tax system in the country with an all options on the table approach
3) Reduce the federal corporate tax rate so that it is more in line with the rest of the world
4) Reexamine our trade agreements such as NAFTA and GATT, so that they are no longer excuses for manufacturing to move their operations
5) Auditing the federal reserve, so that we might understand what our hard earned money is being spent on
6) Avoiding singling out individual sectors of our economy, like the coal industry and health insurance, opting instead for supporting all business
7) Making sure that the EPA and OSHA are doing their jobs, rather than issuing frivolous fines in order to justify their inflated budgets
8) Reducing deficit spending by those in Washington, so that our children will not have to pay interest on those projects we cannot afford
9) Put an immediate stop to the out of control spending that has typified this Democrat controlled congress
10) Government cannot create jobs, Government can only create the environment in which individuals can create jobs
